Technodyne Services
Technodyne International offers a full range of services for design, maintenance and repair of RLG/ cryogenic storage tanks throughout a tanks design life and beyond. From the initial concept, through design and construction services and then through the tank life whether it be maintenance, inspection, repair or trouble-shooting.
As experienced designers, we will develop the tank design from concept through FEED to detail design. Should it be required that additional functionality is required or a change in storage product. We have experience of and can provide tank repurposing and modification services.
As Owner’s Engineer, we bring our extensive knowledge to ensure that the both the owner’s specification is met by the main designer / EPC and the finished tank is of required quality and code compliant. We can also offer expert services during either the tank design, construction or operation phases.
We offer tank rehabilitation and renovation services. With EEMUA159 qualified tank assessors, we can review and assess the state of the tank and provide recommendations to bring the tank into a safe and operable condition.
We also offer trouble-shooting services for when things do not go according to plan. Whether it is to identify the underlying issue or develop a solution, you can be assured to find a fix to get the tank back into safe and reliable service.

Ammonia
We have designed various ammonia tanks over the last 20 years for clients requesting single, double and full containment types. We have designed within the requirements in the existing tanks codes EN 14620 and API 620. We are familiar with the latest design requirements, including, PGS-12, potential updates to EN 14620 and the relevant guidelines for ammonia tank storage such as the CIA and EFMA. We have conducted internal research and development work into the best design concepts and their limitations which can impact the risk of stress corrosion cracking and requirements for in-lifetime tank inspection.
LNG
We have designed and supported the construction of more than XXX LNG tanks and have been involved in a variety of containment types including single containment, double containment, full containment with both a steel and a concrete outer containment and membrane tanks. LNG storage has high safety requirements and our team of experienced engineers and technicians have supported the safe, efficient and code compliant design for a wide range of customers.
Petrochemicals
We have experience with a wide range of petrochemical refrigerated storage tank design for products including Butane, Propane, Propylene, LPG, Ethane and Ethylene. We are experienced at designing storage tanks to suit the requirements of our customers and our previous designs have ranged from 8000m3 single containment tanks to 197,000m3 full containment including the largest Ethane tank in the world. We also have experience designing bullets and spheres for pressurised storage facilities.
